I originally wanted a channel setting with a diamond sitting right on top. It was important that the ring not be a cathedral setting because if he was going to spend thousands of dollars on a beautiful little rock, we shouldn't hide it with metal. The ring that he picked out wasn't exactly what I envisioned but it is way prettier and much more sparkly! He did a great job! There are 8 smaller diamonds (4 on each side) with a .83 carat diamond in the center! Beautiful!
