Matt and I finally finished the patio! Well, we are going to put a few flowers in some planters in the back corners but for the most part, it is finished. Matt went to Lowe's early Saturday morning and bought the rest of the stuff while my Mom, Ashley and I went to my final dress fitting. (I'm not posting pictures of my dress because I want you all to be surprised!)
By the time I got home, he had dug out all of the grass, put down the rock in the back and installed the edging. It was way too hot to be outside but we got out there and finished it. We both had to take a couple of breaks between digging the holes, planting the shrubs and adjusting the mulch. The heat was unbearable...we could hardly breath! Matt did not wear sunscreen...I think he may have learned his lesson. Here are some pictures!
This patio furniture is from Matt's apartment. We have found some that we both really like for very inexpensive. Maybe it will go on clearance at the end of the summer.

omigosh that sunburn hurts to even look it. he better wear his sunscreen this weekend at the lake! ya'll did a great job on the patio! :)
